About GFI
GFI is a software development firm based in Leipzig, Germany. Our products extend standard GIS with simple, helpful GIS functions. Our customer-oriented solutions simplify the handling of digital spatial data and make their utilization attractive for a larger group of users. We are not tied to a specific GIS software product. GFI is an associate member of the Open GIS Consortium (OGC).
In General
GFI develops highly efficient applications based on the ESRI product family, including ArcView, ArcInfo, ArcGIS, and MapObjects. We also develop solutions using Intergraph’s GeoMedia and GeoMedia WebMap. Our staff has up to 13 years of experience working on national and international GIS projects. Other services offered include GIS consultation, training aimed at new and advanced users, and data preparation. Our applications support all leading database management systems like Oracle, Informix, MySQL and miscellaneous PC data bases.
